Vinod Kumar Magadi Gopalaiah

Vinod Kumar Magadi Gopalaiah is an Assistant Professor at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Medical Sciences and the Groningen Institute for Gastro Intestinal Genetics and Immunology (3GI), as well as an Assistant Professor at Radboud University Medical Center, Nijmegen. His research focuses on immune-genetics and infectious diseases, particularly dissecting the genetic and molecular mechanisms underlying host responses to infections such as sepsis, tuberculosis, and fungal infections. He leads a team exploring how genetic variations and multi-omics data influence disease heterogeneity, aiming to develop precision medicine strategies and druggable pathways.
