Prof. Vinod Khadkikar is a Professor in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, UAE. He joined Masdar Institute (now Khalifa University) in 2010 as an Assistant Professor and has since contributed over 75 IEEE Transactions papers.

- M.Tech. in Power Electronics, Electric Machines and Drives, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi (2002)
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (Specialization: Power Electronics), École de technologie supérieure (ETS), Montreal (2008)
Research Interests focus on power electronics for renewable energy systems, microgrids, solid-state transformers, and CubeSats technology. His work includes electric vehicle charging, power quality solutions, and advanced power conversion systems.
Leadership Roles: Co-Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications and IET Power Electronics. He leads multiple research themes at Khalifa University's centers including Advanced Power and Energy Center (APEC), Space Technology and Innovation Centre (KUSTIC), and Virtual Research Institute (VRI) for Sustainable Energy.
