Dr. Khalifa Alhosani is an Associate Professor at Khalifa University's College of Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering. His research focuses on control system theory applied to energy systems, power electronics, smart-grid, renewable energy grid integration, and electrified transportation.

His research projects include the ASPIRE Visiting International Professor Program, roadmap design for autonomous vehicle infrastructure in UAE, application of Model Predictive Control on compressors, and the development of the SAVE Tool for UAE power systems funded by TRANSCO and Manitoba Hydro. He is also involved in the Virtual Research Institute (VRI) for sustainable energy funded by ASPIRE.
