Motiur Reza Mohammed is a Research Fellow in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Khalifa University, specializing in power electronics and sustainable energy systems. He is affiliated with the Advanced Power and Energy Center (APEC) and Petroleum Institute Research.
Education:
- PhD in Electrical Engineering from IIT BHU, Varanasi, India (2019-2022)
- M.Tech in Electrical Engineering from College of Engineering Pune (CoEP), India
- B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from SASTRA University, Thanjavur, India
Research Focus: Dr. Mohammed's work centers on power conversion systems (DC-DC converters for fuel-cell/battery interfaces, V2V charging) and advanced electric motor design (PMSM, Linear Induction Motors, Syn Rel). His expertise also includes low-frequency electromagnetic analysis and electric traction systems for railway adhesion control.
Labs & Collaborations: He has been associated with the Advanced Power and Energy Center (APEC) since January 2023, working on next-generation power converter technologies under Prof. Vinod Khadkikar.
