Professor Vinh Thai is a logistics and supply chain management expert at RMIT University's School of Accounting, Information Systems and Supply Chain. His research focuses on maritime logistics, supply chain resilience, and port operations, with a strong emphasis on Southeast Asia, particularly Vietnam. As founder of the Australian Maritime Logistics Research Network (AMLRN), he promotes interdisciplinary collaboration in maritime studies.
Key research interests include maritime transportation, supply chain collaboration, and digital transformation in logistics. He has advised on industry 4.0 technologies, pandemic impacts, and sustainable procurement practices. Teaching interests span international logistics, port management, and risk resilience in maritime contexts.
