Vinh Nguyen

Dr. Vinh Nguyen is an Associate Professor in the School of Chemistry at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, Australia. Originally from Vietnam, he leads an active research group focused on innovative synthetic methodologies in organic chemistry, particularly in organocatalysis and natural product synthesis. His laboratory has established several pioneering research directions including aromatic cation activation and N-heterocyclic olefins as organocatalysts.
