Vincenzo Ferrari is Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering in the Department of Information Engineering at the University of Pisa. His research develops augmented reality solutions for surgical guidance and human performance enhancement.
Research focuses on hardware and software systems to improve precision in medical procedures through enhanced visualization and cognitive support. This includes image-guided surgery technologies developed through the EndoCAS Center.
