Vincent Singh

Vincent Singh serves as a Senior Lecturer in the School of Health and Social Wellbeing at the University of the West of England (UWE) Bristol and holds a Research Training & Capacity Building Fellowship at ARC West, NIHR. His responsibilities include module leadership across foundation, undergraduate, and postgraduate programs alongside research supervision.

Dr. Singh's research centers on sports injury prevention—particularly shoulder injuries in rugby—and evidence-based musculoskeletal rehabilitation. His current work optimizes patient engagement in shoulder pain management to promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles through conservative rehabilitative approaches.

He has supervised research students and led evaluation projects for Health Education England and the NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group. His shoulder rehabilitation project is funded by the Vice Chancellor’s award, building on prior work with elite athletes and NHS cardiac services.

Dr. Singh maintains active affiliations with ARC West, NIHR and UWE Bristol's School of Health and Social Wellbeing, advancing research in sports medicine and long-term musculoskeletal conditions.
