Dr. Vincent Hoogerheide is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Education within the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences at Utrecht University. He holds a Master's degree (2011) and PhD (2016) in educational psychology from Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, both earned cum laude. His research focuses on video-based learning, self-regulated learning (SRL), and learning-by-teaching through vlogging, exploring how these methods enhance motivation and academic success.

Hoogerheide's work investigates the efficacy of video modeling examples and self-regulated learning strategies in digital environments.
