Dr. Vincent Georgie is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Odette School of Business, University of Windsor. He holds a Ph.D. from HEC Montreal, an MBA from the University of Windsor, and a B.A. in Management (Honours) from the University of Toronto. His research focuses on the marketing of arts and culture, film festivals, cultural leadership, and consumer behavior. He has been actively involved in community leadership roles, serving as Executive Director of the Windsor International Film Festival (2013–Present) and as a Board Member of the Windsor Symphony Orchestra (2009–Present). Georgie has received numerous awards, including the 2019 Top 40 under 40 Leadership Award and the 2016 Alumni Award for Distinguished Teaching.
His professional contributions include leadership roles such as Director of the University of Windsor’s School of Creative Arts (2017–Present) and MBA Program Director (2013–2017). He has secured significant grants, including a $62,500 NCE grant for business plan competitions and a $20,000 CIHR grant for healthcare marketing initiatives. Georgie has also presented at major conferences and workshops, addressing topics like social marketing, cultural planning, and non-profit strategies.
