Vincent Delgado

Vincent Delgado serves as Director of the MSU/RCAH Program on Sustainability in Costa Rica and has held roles such as former MSU Associate Dean for Civic Engagement. He is co-founder of the Refugee Development Center and past co-chair of the Power of We Consortium. Fluent in Spanish, he combines academic leadership with humanitarian work.

Research focuses on nonprofit management, international partnerships, and civic engagement curriculum. His work bridges humanitarianism and academia, exemplified by his documentary cookbook A Taste of Freedom.

Awards: 2005/2006 International Humanitarian of the Year (American Red Cross).

Grants/Advising: Led resettlement of Afghan families and Sudanese refugees post-9/11 as St. Vincent Catholic Charities Resettlement Director. Served as Lansing City Council member and community college instructor.

Labs/Teams: Directs RCAH Sustainability Program in Costa Rica, collaborates with the Power of We Consortium on large-scale systems change initiatives.
