Dr. Vincent Basile is an Associate Professor in the School of Education at Colorado State University, serving as Co-Coordinator for the Education Equity and Transformation Doctoral Program. He holds a Ph.D. in science and mathematics curriculum and instruction from the University of Colorado, with a graduate certificate in ethnic studies. His research critically examines federal STEM policy, racial dynamics in education, and criminalization practices affecting boys of color in STEM settings.
Dr. Basile’s career spans eight years teaching in Denver-area schools and designing teacher training programs, including work with the University of Denver’s Denver Teacher Residency Program.
