Dr. Vinayak B. Kamble serves as an Associate Professor in the School of Physics at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Thiruvananthapuram, a position he has held since February 2025 after progressing from Assistant Professor (October 2015-February 2025). His academic credentials include a PhD in Materials Science from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (2009-2014), an M.Sc. in Physics from the University of Mumbai (2007-2009), and a B.Sc. in Physics from Bhavan's Hazarimal Somani College (2004-2007).
