Dr. Vilma Concha-Chiaraviglio is an Associate Professor of Spanish at Meredith College. Her academic journey includes a Doctor of Arts in Hispanic Linguistics and a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from Stony Brook University, supported by Fulbright and full scholarships. She specializes in second language acquisition, cultural pedagogy, and politeness frameworks in Spanish. Her research emphasizes teaching strategies for Spanish verbal tenses and fostering cross-cultural understanding.
