Vihren Bouzov

Vihren Bouzov is a Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy within the University of Veliko Tarnovo. His research spans Logic of Social Studies, Philosophy of Law, Political Strategies, and National/International Security. He actively contributes to Balkan geopolitical analysis, media manipulation studies, and critical philosophy of globalization.

Recent publications examine third-party mediation in regional crises, conservative environmental ethics, and zero-sum cognitive biases. His work intersects with conflict resolution, legal philosophy, and societal security, often analyzing Turkey's geopolitical ambitions and EU integration challenges.

He leads the Laboratory for Applied Academic Ethics and co-edits the journal Ethics, Science, Education. Current projects focus on judicial mediation implementation in Bulgaria and history of Bulgarian philosophical thought. He organizes international conferences and student essay competitions to bridge academic and secondary education.
