Victoria Lindgren

Victoria Lindgren is a Lecturer at the Department of Law, Umeå University, specializing in tax law, legal history, and legal theory. She holds a Doctor of Laws (LL.D.) from Umeå University (2025), a Master of Laws (2017), and a Master of Science in Commercial Law (2017).

Research and Teaching: Her work focuses on taxation of income, tax principles, and critical perspectives on tax law. She also teaches feminist legal theory and methods in the Master's Program of Gender, Justice, and Society. Her teaching spans basic and advanced levels in the law program.

Supervision and Publications: Lindgren supervises thesis writing for final-year students and sixth-term law students in legal history and philosophy. Her recent publication, "Den goda skattebetalaren", explores the evolution of the working tax subject from 1928–2023.
