Victoria Kerr is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo (Faculty of Engineering). Her research focuses on student team dynamics in engineering design and strategies to enhance learning equity for underrepresented groups. She holds a BEng from Western University (2017), an MSc from the University of Waterloo (2020), and is completing a PhD in Engineering Education at the University of Toronto (expected 2025).
Teaching responsibilities include SYDE courses such as Elementary Engineering Mathematics (2024), Matrices and Linear Systems (2025), and Systems Design Methods series courses. She emphasizes practical design education and inclusive pedagogy.
No graduate student applications are currently accepted. Research interests prioritize actionable methods to improve educational experiences through team-based learning analysis.
