Victor Kennerly is a Professor of Counseling at Spring Arbor University. With extensive experience in secondary and college-level teaching and counseling, he focuses on diverse populations across age, ability, and ethnicity in Michigan regions including Detroit, Ann Arbor, and Flint. He provides private counseling for individuals, couples, families, and adolescents in career, mental health, and personal development. He has conducted monthly lectures and counseling sessions for 150 inmates at the G. Robert Cotton Correctional Facility in Jackson, Michigan, and delivers workshops on career education and adolescent development.

His research interests emphasize career transition challenges, multicultural counseling, and applied mental health strategies. His 2004 publication Trial and error in career transition explores vocational guidance methodologies.
