Victor Arizpe is a Professor at Texas A&M University, affiliated with the Department of Hispanic Studies within the College of Liberal Arts. His career spans academic leadership roles, including Interim Head of the Department of Modern and Classical Languages (1990-1992), founding Director of the International Studies Degree Program (1993-2000), and Founding Head of the Department of Hispanic Studies (2004-2008). He holds a B.A. in Spanish from Pan American University (1972) and a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan (1982).
