Victor Aragon serves as Professor of Viola da Gamba at the Nice Regional Conservatory and Marseille Regional Conservatory, specializing in early music performance and pedagogy.
His academic journey began with self-directed study of guitar, cello, and Latin American percussion before discovering the viola da gamba, which led him to craft his own instruments, bows, and strings. He formalized his training at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse (CNSMD) in Lyon, graduating with unanimous honors in 2004 under mentors including Jordi Savall, Wieland Kuijken, and Philippe Pierlot.
