Dr Victor Agboga is an LSE Fellow in the Department of Government at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). His research focuses on African politics, particularly electoral behavior, political parties, and the implications of party switching in contexts like Nigeria. He holds a PhD in Politics from the University of Warwick, alongside advanced degrees in African Development (LSE), Governance and Development (University of Duisburg-Essen), and a BA in Philosophy (Imo State University, Nigeria).

His research interests include climate change politics, gender in African governance, and the intersection of electoral systems with democratic accountability. Articles collectively address themes of institutional trust, party system dynamics, and security governance in Nigeria and broader African contexts.
Victor previously served as a Senior Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Warwick's Department of Politics and International Studies (PAIS). His work bridges theoretical political science with empirical analysis of contemporary African political challenges.
