Victor Álvarez Tallada

Victor Álvarez Tallada is a Full Professor at the University of Pablo de Olavide, specializing in Molecular Biology and Biochemical Engineering. He is affiliated with the Andalusian Center for Developmental Biology (CABD) and leads the CDCGEN research group focused on the Genetics of Cell Division Control.

His research interests include Genetics, Cell Biology, and Biotechnology, with a focus on metabolic enzymes and cell cycle progression. He contributes to doctoral programs in Cellular and Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering.

Dr. Álvarez Tallada earned his PhD from the University of Málaga in 2003 with the thesis "An essential role of two metabolic enzymes in the progression of the cell cycle," supervised by Dr. Jon Jiménez Martínez.
