Vicki Pountney

Vicki Pountney is a Senior Lecturer in Education at Sheffield Hallam University's Sheffield Institute of Education, where she leads PGCE Secondary Geography and primary geography initiatives. With experience as an Advanced Skills Teacher and Local Authority Consultant, she specializes in primary/secondary geography pedagogy and teacher professional development.

Her research examines primary geography subject leadership, and she holds leadership roles with the Geographical Association and Royal Geographical Society. International collaborations include professional development programs with Madrid's Teacher Education Board.
