Dr. Vicki Fingalson Madison is a Professor of Voice and Director of Opera at the University of Wisconsin-Superior’s Music Department. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Minnesota. Her professional roles include stage director, vocal coach, and teaching artist with organizations like Minnesota Opera, Lyric Opera of the North, and Skylark Opera. She co-produces the Superior Voices Benefit Concert series and has received the Distinguished Creativity Faculty Award.

Active as a performer in over 60 operatic and musical theater roles, including acclaimed performances with the Minnesota Orchestra and Grammy-winning Minnesota Orchestra.

Labs/Teams: Leads Opera Workshop at UW-Superior and collaborates with Lyric Opera of the North, Duluth-Superior Symphony Orchestra, and NorShor Theatre. Active in Twin Ports performing arts scenes.
