Luke Williams is an Assistant Professor of Voice at the University of Delaware's School of Music, part of the College of Arts & Sciences. He holds a doctorate and has performed internationally in roles such as bass-baritone across operatic and musical theater repertoire. His teaching experience includes positions at St. Olaf College (Visiting Assistant Professor of Music) and the University of Central Missouri, where he directed the opera program and served as artist-in-residence.
Performance highlights include As One (Skylark Opera), The Music Man (Colorado Symphony), Tosca, Les Misérables, and world premieres like Bernard Rands' Vincent. He has also been a featured soloist with orchestras such as the Delaware Symphony and Boulder Chamber Orchestra.
His research interests focus on vocal performance, opera production, and interdisciplinary arts education. He contributes to the School of Music through curriculum development in voice pedagogy and collaboration with ensembles like Lyric Theatre and the Delaware Valley Chorale.
