Vicki A. Jackson, MD, MPH, FAAHPM is Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and holds the Blum Family Endowed Chair in Palliative Care. She serves as Chief of the Division of Palliative Care and Geriatric Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and is Co-Director of the Harvard Medical School Center for Palliative Care.

Dr. Jackson’s clinical scholarship centers on innovative outpatient palliative care delivery models, particularly within oncology. Her educational research emphasizes communication curricula for palliative care fellows and attending physicians, aiming to improve conversations with seriously ill patients.
As division chief, she oversees all clinical, educational, and research initiatives in palliative care at MGH, and she co-directs the Harvard Medical School Center for Palliative Care, driving institution-wide standards and training.
