Vesselin Shanov

Dr. Vesselin Shanov is a Professor of Chemical and Materials Engineering at the University of Cincinnati (UC), co-founder and co-director of the NANOWORLD Lab. He holds over 30 years of academic and industrial experience, with expertise in advanced materials, thin films, and nanotechnology. His research focuses on nanostructured materials like carbon nanotubes and biodegradable magnesium for medical implants, with applications in electronics, aerospace, and nanomedicine.
