Prof. Veselin Popov is a faculty member at the Institute of Ethnology and Social Anthropology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, joining in 2023. Prior to this, he served as a Research Professor at the University of St Andrews (UK) for seven years. His work spans ethnographic and archival research focused on Roma communities across Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe, as well as Central Asia and the Caucasus.
