Veronica Ranner is an Assistant Professor at the School of Art, Design and Media at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. She holds a German Diplom in Industrial Design from Pforzheim University and an MA in Design Interactions from the Royal College of Art (RCA), where she is currently pursuing an AHRC-funded PhD. Her research focuses on bio-design, bio-fabrication, and transdisciplinary approaches at the intersection of design, science, and society.

Her research has been exhibited globally, including at the Victoria and Albert Museum, Design Museum Gent, and the Futurium in Berlin.
Recent articles and projects highlight themes such as bio-fabrication, speculative design, and the societal impacts of biotechnologies. She has contributed to grants like the Teaching with Material Objects initiative and joined the NTU Singapore Centre for 3D Printing (SC3DP) as an associated faculty in 2023.
Her work emphasizes ethical and participatory approaches to design science, addressing topics like organ crafting, biomaterials, and the futures of human-technology interactions.
