Emily Candela is an Academic Lead at the Royal College of Art (RCA), specializing in design history and sound research. She holds a Senior Lecturer position in the History of Design Department and leads the communication specialism of the MRes programme. Her work bridges design, science, and their histories, with a focus on postwar British design, X-ray crystallography, and sonic methodologies in museum contexts.
