Verena Zeiner

Verena Zeiner is a pianist, composer, and lecturer affiliated with the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna (Faculty of Music) since October 2023. Her artistic practice spans jazz ensembles, real-time composition, chamber music, orchestras, and transdisciplinary collaborations, with a focus on improvisation as a movement- and bodywork-rooted process.

Zeiner co-founded the platform Fraufeld to promote visibility for artists in improvised music. Her recent awards include recognition from the State of Lower Austria (2020) and the INÖK Composition Competition (2023). She actively supports collaborative projects through crowdfunding initiatives.
