Veijo Vaakanainen is a University Lecturer of Swedish at the Centre for Language and Communication Studies, University of Turku (since 2023). His roles include teaching Swedish for medical and economics students, designing language courses, and integrating AI into pedagogy. He previously held part-time teaching positions at the University of Turku’s Department of Scandinavian Languages and German, as well as Åbo Akademi University’s Swedish Department (2016–2023).
