Vegard Fusche Moe

Vegard Fusche Moe is the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Arts and Sports at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL), appointed from August 1, 2025, for a four-year term. He holds a professorship in Sports Science at HVL, where he has been employed since 2005. His leadership roles include serving as Vice Dean for Research (2022–2025) and Research Programme Leader (2018–2021). He is also a member of UHR–Teacher Education, focusing on enhancing Norwegian teacher education quality.

His research spans sports philosophy, talent development in football academies, outdoor education safety, and team resilience in elite sports. Key thematic areas include:
