Vecihi Zambak

Vecihi Zambak is Associate Professor and Program Director of Interdisciplinary Studies for Educators in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Monmouth University. He holds a PhD in Curriculum & Instruction from Clemson University, MS from the University of Amsterdam, and BS from Bogazici University.

His research examines mathematics teacher development, focusing on professional noticing skills, technology integration in mathematics education, STEM interdisciplinary approaches, and teacher preparation frameworks. Current projects investigate noticing practices for diverse learners and STEM identity development.

Publications demonstrate consistent focus on teacher knowledge development through technology-enhanced learning environments and interdisciplinary curriculum design. Recent work explores model-eliciting problems in STEM education.

He received funding from NSF, Urban Coast Institute, and was an AMTE STaR Fellow (2020-2021).
