Vasken Dilsizian is a Professor of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine since 2001 and Chief of the Nuclear Medicine Division at the University of Maryland Medical Center. He has contributed extensively to nuclear cardiology through research, editorial leadership, and clinical expertise.

Recent publications emphasize coronary microvascular dysfunction, hybrid imaging integration, and standardized PET protocols. These works span cardiovascular imaging, molecular diagnostics, and clinical translation.
