Vasiliki Orgeta is an Associate Professor at the Division of Psychiatry, Faculty of Brain Sciences, University College London (UCL). She joined UCL in 2008 and focuses on psychological interventions for dementia care.

Her research emphasizes psychosocial interventions in dementia and mild cognitive impairment, linking stress to dementia risk and examining caregiver mental health. She developed the STAYING ACTIVE intervention and co-leads the NIDUS-Family project.
Her recent publications span dementia care, caregiver burden, AI applications in neurodegenerative disorders, and biomarkers in PTSD-associated cognitive decline. She employs systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and economic evaluations as methodological approaches.
Scientific awards include:
- Senior Fellowship, Alzheimer's Society (2016–2019)
- IDEA Grant (2016–2020) for early-stage dementia interventions
She supervises 6 PhD students and created the MSc in Dementia: Causes, Treatments and Research. Her work on @IDEAlabUCL has been featured in CNN and The Times.
