Vanessa Taylor

Vanessa Taylor is Professor of Cancer and Palliative Care and Director of Practice and Care Partnerships at the University of Huddersfield, within the Department of Nursing, School of Human and Health Sciences. She joined the university in 2022 and is actively accepting PhD students. Her work significantly contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in health and education.

Her research interests are centered on cancer, palliative care, end-of-life care, workforce development, clinical practice, and curriculum development. She specializes in enhancing teaching and learning in healthcare education and integrating research into curricula. Her expertise includes strategic development of undergraduate and postgraduate programs for health and social care professionals, with a focus on advanced practice.
