Vanessa Ali

Vanessa Ali is an Associate Professor at Johnson & Wales University (JWU), serving full-time since 2022. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching (2019) and two additional degrees from JWU: a BS (2017) and AS (2015). Her primary affiliation is the College of Food Innovation & Technology.

Ali specializes in culinary education, emphasizing cultural awareness and sustainable practices. She co-advises Culinaria Latina, a student club promoting Latin American cuisine, and advises the Tastes of the World Chef’s Culinary Conference at UMass. She also serves as an operations coordinator for The Flavor Experience conference and a consultant for Clarke Living (Sub-Zero/Wolf kitchen showroom).
