Vandana Subroy

Dr. Vandana Subroy is a Research Officer and Contractor/Visitor at the UWA School of Agriculture and Environment, The University of Western Australia. She holds a PhD in Environmental Economics (2019) from UWA, following a Master's in Environmental Sciences from Rutgers University (USA) and a Master's in Applied Mathematics from the University of Hyderabad (India).

Her expertise lies in non-market valuation (e.g., discrete choice experiments), cost-benefit analysis, and survey design. She focuses on integrating human preferences and environmental values into policy decisions, addressing biodiversity conservation, soil health, and waste management.
