She concurrently serves as a Plant Breeder at PGG Wrightson Seeds Ltd in New Zealand. Her work focuses on plant physiology, breeding, genetic diversity, and agronomy of pasture legumes, particularly subterranean clover. She holds a PhD in Pasture Science from UWA (2023) and a Master’s in Agricultural Science from the same institution.
Research Expertise:
- Plant adaptation to environmental stress (e.g., salinity, waterlogging)
- Abiotic stress physiology and genetics
- Oestrogenic pasture development
- Root development and soil interactions
Awards:
- A.W. Howard Memorial Trust Travel Award (2021, 2023)
- Bursaries Award for thesis competition and conference attendance (2021–2023)
Her publications investigate crop responses to organic waste (e.g., black soldier fly frass), waterlogging tolerance in subterranean clover, and phytoestrogen impacts on reproductive biology. Collaborations span Australia and New Zealand, emphasizing sustainable agriculture solutions.
