Valérie Le Floch

Valérie Le Floch is a Professor at the Faculty of Psychology, Université Toulouse 2, specializing in Social Psychology. She previously directed the Department of Social, Work and Organizational Psychology (2014-2018) and currently co-leads the Social, Work and Organizational Psychology specialization at the university. She also serves as co-head of scientific animation for the CLLE (Cognition, Languages, Language, Ergonomics) laboratory's "Cognition in Complex Situations" team.

Her work often employs multidisciplinary approaches and has addressed public policy through ANR-funded projects like ANR Jeuvieilli (2021-2024).

Selected Publications include studies on gambling cognition in aging (2024), nanotechnology risk comparisons (2023), and workplace telework motivations (2022). Her article co-authored with Martinez et al. (2012) established foundational insights into interpersonal risk-taking in gambling contexts.

Collaborations involve cross-institutional teams across France and Canada, including researchers from LPPS (Psychopathology and Health Processes Laboratory), Université Laval, and the CLLE laboratory.
