Valerie Krysanski is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Health Psychology at the Max Rady College of Medicine, University of Manitoba. She serves as site lead for clinical health psychology at Victoria Hospital and as Doctoral Practicum Director for the department.

Her research focuses on psychotherapy outcomes for mood disorders and group psychotherapy, treatment engagement factors in mental health services, and eating disorders research examining attachment and personality influences on treatment outcomes. She provides inpatient consultation at Victoria Hospital and outpatient cognitive/psychodiagnostic assessments.
She formerly worked at the Regional Centre for Eating Disorders at the Ottawa Hospital, offering assessment and treatment for eating disorders. Her clinical supervision includes medical students, doctoral psychology students, and clinical psychology residents.
