Valerie George is a Professor in the Department of Art and Design at the University of West Florida’s College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities. She is also the Arts Editor of Panhandler Magazine: A Journal of Art and Literature, a member of Good Children Gallery (New Orleans, LA), and a Co-Founder/Co-Director of the 309 Punk Project (Pensacola, FL). Her artistic practice spans installation, video, performance, sound, sculpture, and curatorial work, with a focus on themes like play, entropy, and the intersection of art and life.
