Dr. Mark Gubb is Assistant Professor in Fine Art at Coventry University's School of Arts & Creative Industries. His interdisciplinary practice spans sculpture, performance, video, and installation, critically examining how popular culture and oral histories shape worldviews. Recent projects include the Tropicana Lido redevelopment collaboration with RCKa architects and investigations into undercover policing with Common Wealth Theatre. Gubb has exhibited internationally with institutions like Artangel and PS1 MoMA. His research explores audience agency and site-specific interaction dynamics. Current initiatives include preserving Derek Boshier's photographic archive and developing punk culture documentation through residencies like The 309 Punk Project.
