Valentina Radic is an Associate Professor in the Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of British Columbia. Her research focuses on quantifying the response of mountain glaciers to climate change, including projections of sea-level rise and regional hydrology impacts. She holds a PhD from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and has led major initiatives like the updated global glacier contribution projections featured in the IPCC Fifth Assessment Report.
