Valentina Cavedon

Valentina Cavedon is a Temporary Assistant Professor at the University of Verona's Department of Neurosciences, Biomedicine and Movement Sciences. She holds a PhD in Multimodal Imaging in Biomedicine and is involved in the HEAL ITALIA project focusing on precision medicine. Her research focuses on adapted physical activities for individuals with disabilities, body composition analysis, and bone density evaluation in athletes and patients with neurological conditions like multiple sclerosis or spinal cord injury. She teaches modules in adapted sports training, performance assessment, and sport teaching methods at both master's and bachelor's levels.

Her academic activities include roles in committees such as the Scientific Committee for Postgraduate Courses in Postural Analysis and Exercise, and the Communication and Third Mission Commission. Research sectors include medical imaging (ERC LS7_1), nervous system injuries (ERC LS5_13), and neurological disorders (ERC LS5_11).
