Val Pexton is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of English at the University of Wyoming since 2001. She specializes in creative writing and teaches courses such as First-Year Seminar: Zombies, Literature, Media, and Culture, and Intro to Fiction Writing. Her research interests include popular culture, dystopian narratives, and literary genres.
