He explores how creative practitioners can amplify environmental science and engage with ecological crises. His teaching spans creative writing, contemporary literature, literary theory, and digital humanities.
The analysis of his recent publications reveals a strong thematic focus on environmental narratives, personal and ecological memory, and the intersection of creative practice with climate crisis discourse. His works blend fiction, non-fiction, and critical commentary, often published in literary journals and anthologies such as Best British Short Stories and The Lonely Crowd. The recurring motifs include nature, extinction, fatherhood, and digital innovation in pedagogy.
