معرفی
Dr. Ute Wollschläger is a Research Associate and Coordinator of the BonaRes Centre for Soil Research at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) in Halle (Saale), Germany. She leads the Department of Soil Systems Research, focusing on soil functions, sustainable agriculture, and systemic modeling. Her work integrates ecological, hydrological, and climatic perspectives to address global environmental challenges.
Education: She holds a Diploma in Geology/Paleontology (University of Kiel) and a PhD in Fluid-Rock Interaction (University of Heidelberg). She has held research positions at Heidelberg University and UFZ since 2006.
Research Interests: Her work emphasizes soil multifunctionality, soil health indicators, and the development of models like BODIUM. She coordinates interdisciplinary projects such as BonaRes and DeepHorizon, aiming to enhance soil management practices and policy frameworks.
Key Projects: Leads BonaRes Centre coordinating 11 research consortia, WP4 in DeepHorizon (subsoil modeling), and RespiScale (CO2 flux quantification). Collaborates on GLIMPSE and SoilSystems (DFG-funded initiatives).
Contributions: Published extensively on soil modeling, hydrological observatories, and permafrost dynamics. Her work bridges lab-scale experiments with large-scale field applications, emphasizing practical solutions for sustainable land use.
