Uta Balbier is a Professor of Modern History at the University of Oxford, where she serves as a Tutorial Fellow at St Anne’s College and Deputy Director of the RAI (Rothermere American Institute). Her research investigates the interplay between American religions and global political, cultural, and ideological dynamics, particularly during the Cold War and decolonization periods.
